It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing, and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out the biggest moves in adland this week.

PubMatic appoints Laura Greally APAC marketing director

PubMatic has appointed Laura Greally marketing director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. She will oversee the execution of regional marketing campaigns across digital, paid media, and account-based marketing strategies to drive product adoption and brand visibility.

Sling & Stone founder Vuki Vujasinovic steps down

Vuki Vujasinovic, the founder of communications agency Sling & Stone, will be stepping down as CEO from January 1. He will be replaced by James Hutchinson, the current global head of business and a 10-year veteran of the agency.

Vudoo appoints Drew Perry managing director for Asia Pacific

Advertising commerce company Vudoo has appointed Drew Perry managing director for Asia Pacific. He has two decades of ad tech experience, including founding an intelligent business automation and system integration solutions provider Autonic. 

Peter Horgan steps down

Peter Horgan, after 21 years with Omnicom Media Group, is stepping down as CEO – Australia and New Zealand. A search for his successor is underway. He will stay in the role until mid-2025 and become chair once the new CEO is identified.

Indie agency Murmur grows team by three

Independent media agency Murmur has appointed Tara DeLuccia operations director, Rob Hawkins client service director and Vatsal Prasad performance marketing director, with a media director also due to join soon. This brings the total number of staff at Murmur to 10, with three more hires planned in the near future.

Orange Line's raft of new hires

Independent digital marketing agency Orange Line has hired eight and promoted several after adding Fantastic Furniture, Skyscanner, and Jackson Hole to its roster. Marie Taupiac joins as SEO director and Dani Maynard has been appointed communications lead.

EssenceMediacom's Adele Burke joins InfoSum

InfoSum has hired Adele Burke as sales director for Australia & New Zealand. In this newly created senior position, she will lead InfoSum’s go-to-market sales strategy. Prior to joining InfoSum, Burke was GM of EssenceMediacom’s Sydney office.

John Ball exits Google, Elizabeth Fox named replacement

Google's managing director of Customer Solutions John Ball has exited the technology company. Elizabeth Fox, who has more than 20 years of global work experience, has been appointed as replacement.

Admosis Media Group names Rob Patterson as GM

Full-service media and advertising agency Admosis Media Group has appointed Rob Patterson as its first GM. Patterson will be responsible for growing the agency’s client roster and team, nurturing client campaigns and supporting co-founders Dan Copsey and Adam Ennis in overseeing the day-to-day running of the business.

Ideally appoints Kim Le Gras Australian enterprise partner

Customer research platform Ideally has appointed Kim Le Gras to the newly created role of strategic client partner. She has two decades of enterprise marketing experience across the UK and Australia and will now be based in Sydney.

UNKL's Will Miles joins WA indie agency Berlin

Independent agency Berlin has appointed Will Miles design director. He most recently ran his own consultancy, Nice Monday, after moving to WA. Prior he’d worked at Sydney's Special and Havas Host as creative director, before co-founding the UNKL.

PHD promotes David Bielenberg and Elyse Foley

OMG media agency PHD has promoted David Bielenberg to national head of strategy and Elyse Foley national head of planning, effective immediately. Bielenberg moves up from head of strategy and planning and Foley moves up from head of planning Sydney.

The Media Store appoints Nick Hayes head of digital

Independently owned media agency The Media Store has appointed Nick Hayes head of digital. He joins with 15 years’ digital media experience and was most recently group head of strategy at Russell Curtis and Janes Media Advertising.

The Pistol adds two

Brinda (Bini) Dekiwadia has joined full-service digital marketing agency The Pistol in the newly created role of head of performance. Daren Polo has also been appointed as part of the performance team, specialising in SEO and CRO functions.
