Carat's Vikki Friscic to run Seven Adelaide
Andy Kay, general manager of Seven West Media's Adelaide network and the group’s head of olympics and commonwealth games, will retire in early April. Vikki Friscic, from media Carat Adelaide, will join Seven Adelaide as managing director.
National sales director Lisa Squillace is leaving Paramount ANZ. Her next move isn't known. She said: “I’m immensely proud of the work I have achieved at Paramount ANZ and for the strong legacy I am leaving behind."
James Wright is returning to Australia to be CEO of Havas Creative Network and Gayle While is moving from Dentsu to be CEO at Host/Havas. While was appointed chief client officer at Dentsu less than a year ago and previously had been CEO at Clemenger BBDO. She will now report to Wright. Laura Aldington earlier this month announced her departure as CEO of Host/Havas, the agency she joined in 2007, to "write an exciting new story of my own".
Queensland Rugby League's Rohan Sawyer joins Bastion Experience
Rohan Sawyer is leaving his role as Queensland Rugby League (QRL) CEO to head Bastion Experience in Queensland as state managing director. Sawyer started at the QRL in 2018 as chief operating officer and then became CEO in October, 2021.
Independent media agency Hatched has appointed Adam Steward as head of performance and e-commerce. Steward joins from Havas where he spent more than five years expanding the agency’s performance capabilities, most recently as national head of performance and e-commerce.
Senior appointments at The Media Store
The Media Store has appointed Sam Cousins chief strategy officer and Max Rivera data & analytics director. Cousins joins from the Dentsu group, where she has spent the past 16 years, most recently as chief strategy officer at iProspect. Max Rivera joins after a six year career at Amobee most recently as director – data and solutions.
Jordan Vincent CEO of Fika Entertainment
Virtual production and real time animation company Fika Entertainment has appointed Jordan Vincent as CEO. Vincent will replace outgoing CEO Kris Maric who is taking the opportunity to pursue a number of new projects. Vincent is one of the original Fika Entertainment founders since it was spun out from Deakin University in 2019 and prior to CEO he was executive manager and head of sales and strategy.
