Chris Andrews joins Ogilvy as GCD
Ogilvy Melbourne has hired creative Chris Andrews as group creative director. Most recently at Special, Andrews brings broad experience gained at a range of Melbourne-based creative shops including CHE Proximity, DDB, BMF and the former JWT.
This is Flow appoints Sue Cant head of investment
Independent media agency This is Flow has appointment of Sue Cant as head of investment. Cant has 21 years’ experience in the media industry, having most recently been head of media at AFFINITY. She has also held the roles of head of investment at Dentsu X and client, investment lead at Carat, as well as working with Amplifi ANZ and MediaCom Australia.
DDB’s Smith Street Jessica Harold joins The Brand Agency
Jessica Harold has joined The Brand Agency's Melbourne office as group creative director. Previously she was creative director role at DDB’s Smith Street, and had been creative director at Big Red and AJF partnership. The Brand Agency is part of WPP.
G Squared appoints John Phung head of data and analytics
Digital consultancy G Squared has appointed John Phung head of data and analytics in a newly created role. Phung will lead G Squared’s data analysis and reporting capabilities in paid media, SEO and web, working closely with its consultants to provide insights for clients including maximising investment decisions with best practice attribution models across the entire digital marketing mix.
Digital Minds Group hires three
Digital Minds Group has hired three digital specialists with international experience, following client wins in 2024 across eCommerce, travel and financial services. Sarah Burnett has joined the paid media team after relocating from New Zealand. Sophie Quinn has been recruited into the marketing services team as Digital Minds Group continues to expand its offering in performance creative, content and social. Dani Melnicukova also joined the team this month as a digital specialist working across social and content.
cummins&partners head of strategy Phil Pickering departs
cummins&partners head of strategy Phil Pickering has departed the agency after joining in February of last year. The creative agency confirmed the move to AdNews. Pickering was previously planning director at Clemenger BBDO, where he was leading a number of FMCG, tourism, and government accounts.
Daniella Kenney appointed head of programmatic at Foxtel Media
Daniella Kenney has been appointed head of programmatic at Foxtel Media. Kenney, reporting to the chief sales officer (CSO) and based in Melbourne, will develop and implement short-and long-term strategies with agency programmatic channels for sponsorship and advertising solutions. Kenney, who previously held the position of head of digital partnerships - Amplifi, dentsu ANZ, in Melbourne, has more than a decade of leadership experience in advertising and media, having also held senior roles at Yahoo!7 and Fairfax Media.
Former Kinetic COO Nick Parker becomes Veridooh global president
Former Kinetic Global COO Nick Parker has joined Australian outdoor media media verification adtech Veridooh as global president. Parker, working with the co-CEOs Mo Moubayed and Jeremy Yang, will be responsible for driving expansion into key new markets. Parker brings more than 35 years of OOH experience, the majority of which he spent within WPP.
Nine's Jonathan Fox joins Mutinex
Jonathan Fox, Nine’s former director of effectiveness, has joined marketing analytics scale-up Mutinex in a growth role. Fox has a long history in econometrics field, having first been an econometrician at Holmes & Cook before joining Ebiquity in early 2015. He has since held a senior position at Nine, helping key customers shape their marketing measurement and effectiveness strategies.
