Nine CEO Mike Sneesby steps down

Nine Entertainment has announced that Mike Sneesby will step down as chief executive officer and as a director on the Nine Board, effective from September 30. Chief finance and strategy officer Matt Stanton has been appointed as acting CEO effective from October 1, while Nine undertakes a recruitment process to identify a new CEO.

MullenLowe's Karen Coleman appointed as VaynerMedia country manager

Karen Coleman has been appointed as country manager of Australia at independent creative and media agency VaynerMedia Asia Pacifc. Coleman replaces Amy Bradshaw to oversee the agency's ANZ region and reports to Tim Lindley.

Peter Charles appointed Seven managing director for Victoria

The Seven Network has appointed Peter Charles to the new role of managing director for Victoria. The promotion comes after Seven saw up to 150 redundancies in June.

PHD appoints Eileen Ooi as Asia Pacific CEO

Omnicom Media Group (OMG) agency PHD has appointed Eileen Ooi as CEO, Asia Pacific. With over 19 years of industry experience, Ooi will lead PHD business operations across APAC and work across clients including Volkswagen Group, CHANEL, Diageo and Singapore Airlines.

Kinesso's Michael Whiteside joins QMS

QMS has appointed Michael Whiteside as national sales director of advanced trading, effective October 7. Alex Kerley, Whiteside will be responsible for leading QMS' programmatic offering across Australia, delivering on agencies and clients’ requirements for integrated solutions across all the major demand side platforms and data providers.

Sitecore names Australia VP

Stuart O’Neill has been named digital experience software company Sitecore's area vice president for Australia. He has spent the past 20 years working in systems integration, networking, software sales, and e-commerce in Europe, Australia, and Asia. 

OpenX promotes Matt Sattel to chief revenue officer

Omnichannel supply-side platform Open X has promoted Matt Sattel to chief revenue officer. In this new role, Sattel will continue to lead the buyer development team while adding strategic partnerships and revenue operations to his remit.

Digital Minds Group grows team by four

Digital Minds Group has added four team members. David Williams has been appointed to manage the agency’s performance creative division, Margarita Halatjan has joined the SEO team as an SEO manager, Elliot Richtor has been appointed as senior performance manager and Sam Millard joins the team as associate performance manager.

Nicole Conway and Tim Batterham join Dig

Independent creative agency has added Nicole Conway and Tim Batterham to its senior creative team. The duo will work across Dig's portfolio of brands, including Australian Pork, Mitre 10, The Bottle-O, Cellarbrations, 3M, A2 Milk, Bulla, and RACV. 

Paper Moose hires four across strategy, creative, media and accounts

Independent creative agency Paper Mooose has brought on four senior hires after several competitive pitch wins. Annabelle Rogers joins as strategy director, Claire Sutton joins as creative lead, Niranjana Muraleedharan joins as performance and social media director and Brigitte Harbrow joins the team as senior account director.
