It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out the biggest moves in adland from this week.

Nine restructures operating model

Former Foxtel executive Amanda Laing has been named MD of the Streaming & Broadcast division. Nine has also appointed James Boyce as director of regulatory, public affairs and communications to enhance the focus on the regulatory environment. 

ADMA appoints IAB's Sarah Waladan head of regulatory and advocacy

She takes over from Sarla Fernando, who has moved to a customer communications advisory role at the Commonwealth Bank and will remain a member of the ADMA Regulatory and Advocacy Working Group.

AANA hires Stacey Knox to run events and member engagement

Most recently, she provided consultancy services to media and marketing agencies across Australia and New Zealand, specialising in partnerships, events, commercial efficiencies, and organisational transformation.

Paul Arena joins Cuttable

He joins from Ogilvy, where he led strategy and planning.

BBC Studios ANZ ad sales appoints Melbourne account executive

Georgina Marshall recently returned to Australia after working for the BBC Studios advertising team for five years in London servicing markets across the UK and Europe.

Peter Tonagh joins Nine board

He is currently chair of Quantium, a data and analytics company, as well as GTN Limited, Bus Stop Films and Honey Insurance.

Zitcha appoints Debra Berman and Jonathan Waecker advisors

Berman is a former chief marketing officer for Yahoo and JCPenney. Waecker has held senior marketing and global executive roles at Yahoo, The Walt Disney Company, Zynga and most recently at The Warehouse Group.

AFR grows team by four

Lauren Sams was named as editor of Fin Magazine, the Financial Review’s seasonal glossy magazine.
