Movers & Shakers: MiQ, Sparro, Scope3, Atomic 212°, CHEP

It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out some of the biggest moves this week.

Yahoo's Luke Burr joins MiQ

Luke Burr has joined MiQ as Victorian sales director, independents, after nearly six years at Yahoo. He will be responsible for leading MiQ’s commercial plans to grow the independent agency channel, servicing both existing business and opening new partnerships.

The Trade Desk's Joanna Georges joins Scope3 to head Australia

Scope3, with a mission to decarbonise the media and advertising industry,  has appointed Joanna Georges to the newly created position of head of Australia and New Zealand. Joanna joins Scope3 from The Trade Desk where she spent two years as director of data partnerships, ANZ.

Angus Waters joins Sparro as partnerships account director

Sparro has appointed Angus Waters to lead its growing partnerships & affiliate team. Waters brings six years of experience working across publisher relationship management at Commission Factory. Most recently, his position saw him leading a team of publisher relationship developers while working directly with affiliate partners. 

The Works with six new hires 

The Works, part of Capgemini, has appointed Katherine Dove, Vivienne Fung, Katerina Hatzi, Cameron Burnett, Jackson Tate and Daniel Wood to the team. Creative partner Iggy Rodriguez said with the agency's ambition set high on delivering significant creative work for its clients this year, it’s been critical to add new firepower to the team.

Vistar Media hires Teegan Gardner as APAC marketing manager

Vistar Media has named Teegan Gardner as marketing manager for APAC, focusing on enhancing Vistar Media’s position in the region and driving client relationships and revenue growth. She has experience across the marketing and media industries, having worked for Are Media and QMS Media. Based in Sydney, she will directly support MD for APAC Ben Baker.

Atomic 212° adds four to Sydney leadership team

Independent media agency Atomic 212° has appointed three group account directors and a client lead to its Sydney leadership team. Jessica Torstensson is now group account director, Kate LeMoine has been promoted from client lead to group account director, Marcus Layman who joins from Hearts & Science as a digital director and Rick Sillan has been promoted into a client lead role.

Anchora's Nick Jia joins CHEP as executive director, marketing technology

CHEP has appointed Nick Jia as executive director, marketing technology, to support the increasing demand for sophisticated personalisation, cross-channel marketing and customer data management solutions. Jia joins from Anchora where as chief growth officer he built and launched its MarTech capability. 

Ex-Clemenger MD Andrew Holt joins Compare the Market as CMO

Andrew Holt has been appointed CMO at financial comparison website Compare the Market. Holt was previously chief executive officer at VCCP and managing director at Clemenger BBDO in Sydney.

Azerion appoints Caitlin Huskins commercial director for JAPAC

Azerion, a provider of digital advertising solutions, has appointed Caitlin Huskins the new commercial director for JAPAC. Huskins will be responsible for developing and executing the company's commercial strategy in JAPAC, with a focus on expanding its client base and driving revenue growth.
