Mindshare's Catherine Rushton joins This Is Flow
This is Flow has appointed Catherine Rushton the agency’s first chief strategy officer. Rushton will provide strategic leadership for Flow’s growing client portfolio and assist in the mentorship for the strategic minds coming through the agency.

Spinach appoints Dom Megna ECD
Integrated Melbourne agency Spinach has appointed Dom Megna executive creative director. Megna will help lead the creative output of the business across a range of clients including Jalna Dairy Foods, Drummond Golf, Geeks2U, Bushman Repellent, Mr Chen’s and Homebuyers Centre.

Nine's David Cook joins Initiative as head of marketing and IQ
Media agency Initiative has appointed David Cook to the newly created national role of head of marketing and IQ, based in Sydney.
Cook’s remit is to lead IQ, Initiative’s consulting division, with a key objective to deliver high-level strategic media recommendations to c-suites.

Orange Line appoints Capgemini's Adam Donnelly head of strategy
Orange Line has appointed former senior director of client strategy and innovation at Capgemini, Adam Donnelley, as head of strategy. Donnelley has worked at leading digital consultancies and agencies in Australia and the US including chief strategy officer of ASX listed RXP Group, managing partner of DDB Sydney and executive vice president, strategy at MRM/McCann in New York.

IPG’s Pippa Berlocher to run EssenceMediacom in ANZ
Pippa Berlocher is returning to Australia from Singapore to be CEO of the new super media agency EssenceMediacom in Australia and New Zealand. Berlocher joins from IPG Mediabrands’ performance marketing agency Reprise, where she was APAC President.

TABOO's new hires and promotions
Melbourne-based independent TABOO has announced key new hires and promotions. The changes come after 12-months of new business growth for the agency, adding Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, Starward Whiskey, 7-Eleven, Lavazza and ‘Up’ to their list of clients.

Aussie Merciadez joins Komo Technologies
Customer engagement platform Komo Technologies has appointed Aussie Merciadez to the new role of global chief of customer engagement and loyalty partnerships. Merciadez will spearhead Komo’s move into the category as it seeks to fill a gap in the market with a SaaS solution that makes it quick and easy for brands to create a cost effective and compelling loyalty program.

ARN's Ben Croston joins Active International Australia as sales director
Media company Active International Australia has appointed Ben Croston sales director. Croston will work with clients to determine how their excess inventory can be used to part-pay for advertising activity and then work with media and agency partners to invest the extra budget this creates.

Warren Clarke joins BBC Studios ANZ as head of scripted
Warren Clarke is joining BBC Studios’ Australian production arm as head of scripted as the studio restructures to gear up for a major push into premium production in the country and capitalise on the success of its unscripted business.
