Movers & Shakers: MediaCom, AANA, ViacomCBS

It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out the biggest moves in adland this week.

MediaCom names first national head of digital
MediaCom has appointed Minsun Collier to the newly created role of national head of digital. Collier was formerly head digital officer at The Media Store. Based in Sydney, Collier will focus on leading and developing MediaCom’s digital capabilities nationally while being a digital advisor for the agency’s clients and media partners. Collier has more than 20 years of industry experience and has worked in a wide range of digital and media roles, as well as broader leadership roles.

Peter Horgan joins AANA
Peter Horgan has been appointed to the board of the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA), the peak body representing the interests of advertisers. The CEO of Omnicom Media Group (OMG) Australia and New Zealand and chair of the Media Federation of Australia (MFA) is joining AANA as an Industry Member Director. Horgan was appointed CEO of OMG, the media services division of Omnicom Group, in 2016, managing more than 900 people. He was appointed chair of the MFA in March 2014.

Ten's sales boss expands role
Rod Prosser, the head of sales at Network 10, will lead all ViacomCBS Australian sales teams. All the sales teams at ViacomCBS will merge, including Network 10, the ViacomCBS subscription brands MTV, MTV Dance, MTV Music, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and their related digital and event properties, effective mid-April. Prosser becomes chief sales officer, Network 10 and ViacomCBS. ViacomCBS’ senior director ad sales and brand partnerships Australia & New Zealand Vanessa Winley will report to Prosser, joining his leadership team.

Shopper Media names top marketer
Shopper Media has named Karissa Fletcher as head of marketing. Fletcher will be responsible for the retail out-of-home business’ marketing strategy and execution across B2B and B2C environments. She has previously worked at brands including Westpac, IAG and Ernst & Young.

Ogilvy Melbourne expands team
Ogilvy Melbourne has appointed Danielle Etzin as group account director and Zac Martin as senior planner. In addition hires, Lee Phillips and Patrick Trethowan join the creative team. Etzin has almost 18 years’ experience across Australia, the UK and Switzerland, working at agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, BWM, CHE and Cummins&Partners. Martin began his career at George Patterson Y&R, going on to work at Cummins&Partners. Phillips and Trethowan have joined forces as a senior creative team after individual stints at Leo Burnett, M&C Saatchi, McCann and JWT.

Shutterstock’s new boss
Stan Pavlovsky has been named as Shutterstock’s new CEO. Pavlovsky first joined the stock image company in April last year as co-COO and head of strategic operations, before transitioning to president and COO in June. He has previously worked at media company Meredith Corporations, home to brands such as People, Better Homes & Gardens and InStyle.

Comscore exec joins Lotame
Lotame has appointed Amy Yeung as the company’s new general counsel and chief privacy officer. In addition to overseeing all legal functions, Yeung will spearhead Lotame’s privacy protocols across its business, providing consumers with transparency, notice and control while also helping to inform data consent and privacy features in the company's suite of unstacked data solutions for brands, agencies, and publishers. Yeung joins Lotame from Comscore, where she served as deputy general counsel, leading efforts to bring the company back to the public markets after it was delisted.
