It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out the biggest moves in adland this week.

Chris Kay becomes CEO of creative practice Publicis Groupe UK
Publicis Groupe UK has appointed Chris Kay, a former managing partner of BMF in Sydney, as the new CEO of the creative practice. He will oversee Saatchi & Saatchi, Digitas, Leo Burnett, Publicis•Poke, Octopus, PGOne and Turner Duckworth.

Velocity's Sean Cooper lands at Audience Group
Independent media agency Audience Group has nabbed Sean Cooper, a direct marketer and engagement manager from Virgin Velocity. Cooper, most recently head of new partner acquisition and onboarding at Velocity, joins as director analytics. 

Gumtree expands media team:
Gumtree Australia, CarsGuide and Autotrader announce new appointments to lead the media team. Jodie Smith joins as head of partnerships for Automotive. Smith will lead a specialised team of sales experts with a focus on strengthening relationships in the auto industry.Tim Lloyd, a data and tech advertising specialist, has been promoted to the role of head of adtech and data. 

Olivia Hannah Matthews joins Enigma
Enigma has appointed brand strategist Olivia Hannah Matthews as its new head of brand. Matthews brings 20 years of creating, managing, and driving established global and Australian brands to Enigma.

Val Morgan appoints Annaliese Pedavoli NSW sales director

Val Morgan has appointed Annaliese Pedavoli NSW sales director, heading the agency sales team. She will be reporting directly to Guy Burbidge, managing director of Val Morgan Cinema.

Taboola appoints Australia country manager
Adam Payne, previously senior publisher sales manager for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, has been promoted to country manager for Australia and New Zealand.

David Bailey promoted to managing partner at Ogilvy Health
Ogilvy Health ANZ has promoted David Bailey to managing partner. He will take on the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the agency from Kristina Luburic, managing director of Ogilvy Health.

GroupM NZ appoints Manjit Singh head of product & technology
Manjit Singh appointed head of product & technology at GroupM NZ.  He will work closely with agencies Mindshare, Wavemaker and newly formed EssenceMediacom. He joins from Foresight Digital, where he was head of digital, and replaces Nick Henderson. He will report to Christophe Spencer, who was recently appointed GroupM chief digital officer.

Audience Precision two strategy appointments
Media strategy consultancy and technology business Audience Precision has appointed two strategists, Patrick McGuinn and James Porter. They will work in the media division, delivering multi-platform campaign strategies, while also supporting the broader marketing team, and reporting to team lead Jessica Bray.

Miles Cox joins VMLY&R as chief experience officer
VMLY&R has appointed Miles Cox chief experience officer for AUNZ, following a surge in the agency’s CX projects over the past year. Cox joins the VMLY&R AUNZ executive leadership team with almost a decade of experience leading CX teams at Isobar, Fox Sports and Merkle.

Tug appoints Isabel Blanchard paid media director
Digital marketing agency Tug Sydney has appointed Isabel Blanchard as paid media director. She joins from Incubeta NMPI as senior account manager working on brands including Cue, Veronika Maine, Le Specs and Hanes Australasia. Blanchard is an experienced digital marketing strategist and has successfully leveraged B2B and B2C brands at agencies including NOVO Digital, Admatic, Syfr and Amobee.

Emma Tommasini joins Nature partnership team
Leading strategic insights consultancy Nature has promoted Emma Tommasini to partner. Tommasini joined Nature in 2016 as a senior consultant, where she progressed to the position of director before taking her latest role.
