Dovetail taps ex Zoomo Tom Mansfield for head of marketing
Australian-born research software platform Dovetail has appointed Tom Mansfield head of marketing for its global business. Mansfield was most recently the global head of marketing at Zoomo, another prominent Australian startup with significant overseas presence.

Reprise boosts leadership team with pair of hires
Digital performance agency Reprise has appointed Jos Smyth GM for Melbourne and Perth and Mychal Whittle stream lead.
Smyth is based in Melbourne and Whittle in Sydney. Both report to the CEO of Reprise, Jessica White.

Yahoo's Sarah Michael named publisher of Pedestrian Group
Sarah Michael has been appointed publisher of Pedestrian Group, commencing in early February 2023.
Michael, who most recently served as director of audience strategy and growth across Yahoo Australia and Southeast Asia, has been in the online media business for more than 12 years.

Nick Young returns to Nine
Nick Young has rejoined Nine as commercial director - digital, after less than 12 months at Nova Entertainment, where was chief commercial officer.

Gabriel Ritchie is DMARGE's new agency sales manager
Australian men’s publisher DMARGE has hired Gabriel Ritchie to support its agency partnerships in Sydney and Brisbane. Ritchie, who makes the move from New Zealand, will take the role of agency partnerships & sales manager at DMARGE.

Icon Agency announces two senior appointments
Integrated communications company Icon Agency has appointed David Radestock director of technology and Shannon O’Neill digital and social director. Radestock was previously business director and senior business director at Ogilvy PR.

Esther Carlsen named Nine's commercial director of digital audio
Esther Carlsen has been appointed Nine’s commercial director - digital audio. Carlsen, reporting to Ashley Earnshaw, director of sales - total audio, will be responsible for Nine’s digital audio strategy.

Think HQ appoints Fiona Nixon head of strategy and research
Purpose-driven agency Think HQ has appointed Fiona Nixon head of strategy and research. Nixon will continue to lead the agency’s strategy and research function with a focus on creating insight-driven integrated campaigns that create impact.

Nikki Warburton joins MA Financial Group board
Nikki Warburton has been appointed to the board of directors of ASX-listed financial services firm MA Financial Group, effective immediately. The move comes after the former Audi CMO was appointed a non-executive director of CarExpert last week.

Matt Scotton named EssenceMediacom’s chief product and marketing officer
EssenceMediacom has named Matt Scotton chief product and marketing officer in Australia and New Zealand. Scotton has joined the EssenceMediacom’s executive committee and will lead the agency’s growth agenda and overarching product proposition nationally.

Dentsu hires ARN's Anthony Bartram as general manager of investment
Dentsu has appointed Anthony Bartram general manager of investment working across the Carat, iProspect and dentsu X brands. Bartram brings almost two decades of experience in media to dentsu.

Audience Precision promotes James Allerton head of research and insights
