It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out some of the biggest moves this week.

Luke Maher returns to Australia be head of media at cummins&partners

Luke Maher has joined cummins&partners as head of media after four years in the UK, most recently as the UK media lead for the WPP | Ford. Maher will work across all media only and integrated accounts, starting in the Melbourne office this week.

M&C Saatchi Group names Najla Haddad as chief product officer

M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ has appointed Najla Haddad to the newly created role of chief product officer. Haddad will be leading the CBA client relationship team across the Group as part of her appointment, while also leading the Group’s CX product suite.

Dentsu WA names David Gallo-Martinez senior client director

Dentsu has appointed David Gallo-Martinez senior client director at dentsu Western Australia. Gallo-Martinez joins from WA marketing agency Bonfire where he was client director for five years, working across clients such as Cedar Woods, RAC, Synergy, St John WA, and Water Corporation.

Australian Influencer Marketing Council has a new chair

The AiMCO chair is Tegan Boorman, founder of Social Law Co, who has more than 15 years’ experience as an Australian Lawyer, with a focus on influencer marketing related legal issues. Sharyn Smith steps down.

AAT Kings marketing team promotes three, hires one

AAT Kings’ Di Morgan has taken on the role of GM of group marketing. Nikki Bruce has been promoted to head of marketing from senior group marketing manager. Alison O’Loughlin has been promoted to head of digital marketing & data. The AAT Kings team is also welcoming Michael Woods as partnerships & industry marketing manager. 

Sparro and Jack Nimble name Jessica Steele group business director

Sparro and Jack Nimble have promoted Jessica Steele to the newly-created role of group business director. Her focus will be on combining the creative services of both businesses, developing joint clients across both agencies, and managing data-driven media and creative projects.

Natalie Ahmat becomes NITV's head of indigenous news and current affairs

National Indigenous Television (NITV) has announced the appointment of Mudburra and Wagadagam woman, Natalie Ahmat, as head of indigenous news and current affair. She will leads the editorial direction and oversees the output of NITV’s daily news, its current affairs line-up including weekly show The Point and the long-running Living Black, and news coverage of special events.

Nine prepares for Olympics with two senior appointments

Nine has appointed Andrew Cann and Andrew Nicholls to senior roles in Nine’s sport commercial leadership team. As director of sales - Olympic Games, Cann will lead the development of Nine’s Olympic commercial strategy. Nicholls has been appointed as director of sales operations - sport and Olympic Games and will lead the sport operations strategy.

The Brag Media grows editorial team

The Brag Media has appointed Vivienne Kelly editorial operations manager with a remit to grow in-depth and investigative pieces and ensure all mastheads are serving audiences and advertisers. She moves into the new role after working in a freelance capacity as a senior journalist.

whiteGREY appoints Reeshma Bhanji ECD

Creative technology agency, whiteGREY has appointed Reeshma Bhanji to the role of executive creative director, based in Sydney. Bhanji’s immediate focus is to lead the Scentre Group (Westfield) business, as well as develop and deepen whiteGREY’s creative offering to drive business transformation for clients.
