Mindshare Australia nabs OMG's Gavin Gibson as chief product officer
Media agency Mindshare Australia has appointed Gavin Gibson as their ANZ chief product officer, as the former chief strategy officer of Omnicom Media Group China returns to Australia.
Enigma appoints Chris Richardson as executive director of digital
Independent media agency Enigma has appointed Chris Richardson to executive director of digital, where he will be responsible for boosting the agency’s data and technology offering and leading Enigma’s three offices.
Stephanie Tully is the new CEO of Jetstar
The Qantas Group has appointed marketer Stephanie Tully CEO of Jetstar. Tully, chief customer officer and a former CMO at Qantas Loyalty, replaces Gareth Evans. She joined the national carrier in 2004 and has worked across operational, commercial, marketing and customer loyalty functions in progressively more senior roles.
Zenith Brisbane key promotions
Zenith’s Brisbane has promoted Megan Elliott to head of product and operations, while Maya Richardson expands her remit as the agency’s national commercial director to include head of investment in Brisbane. Working closely with Zenith Brisbane managing director Warwick Taylor, Elliott will help drive new business opportunities and strengthen connectivity across Publicis Groupe.
Edge hires magazine editor Robyn Foyster
Creative and content agency Edge has appointed Robyn Foyster, a former editor-in-chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly, to drive an expanded integrated content and publishing offer.
Special appoints Sarah Raine managing director
Independent creative company, Special, is announcing the expansion of its leadership team with the appointment of Sarah Raine as managing director in Melbourne.
Raine will help drive the continued growth of the business, and build on the already strong foundations and agency culture.
IMAA adds three leadership team members
The Independent Media Agencies of Australia (IMAA) today welcomed three new members to its leadership team. Es Chandra, CEO of Glide Agency (Western Australia), Melissa Roberts, founder and director at The Advertising Room (Victoria), and Angela Smith, chief brand officer of AFFINITY (NSW) will join existing IMAA leadership team members Jacquie Alley (The Media Store), Phil McDonald (BCM), Steve Fagan (Media Republic), and Tom Frazer (Half Dome).
Clemenger BBDO's production and digital appointments
Clemenger BBDO has announced that Sonia von Bibra will assume the role of national head of production. Clemenger BBDO has also announced that Claire Bisset will be returning to her digital roots in the role of executive director – digital, charged with elevating the digital focus, capability and creativity of the agency nationally.
Colony promotes Simon Buutveld to executive creative director
Simon Buutveld has stepped into a new executive creative director role at Colony to lead the Asia-Pacific team. The promotion is in recognition of his contribution to the agency’s fast development.
