Movers & Shakers: Alchemy One, Identity, Initiative, Thinkerbell

It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out some of the biggest moves this week.

Identity appoints Santosh Murthy multicultural strategy director
UM’s multicultural marketing agency Identity Communications has appointed Santosh Murthy to the new role of multicultural strategy director. He will co-lead the agency alongside business director Kimberly Stafford.

Chris Colter promoted to Initiative chief strategy and product officer
Media agency Initiative has promoted Chris Colter to chief strategy and product officer.
Colter will continue to lead the overall strategic output and team within Initiative, but broaden his impact across the Mediabrands group to elevate the integrated product offering – with a specific focus on performance and e-commerce.

Alchemy One promotes Huong Nguyen and Aline Eloy
Independent media agency Alchemy One has appointed Huong Nguyen to group business director and Aline Eloy to group digital director. Both Nguyen and Eloy have been promoted from within the business, and come on the back of recent senior appointments including Sarah Kent as business director and Jeremy Chaker as digital director.

Jerker joins Thinkerbell as managing partner Sydney
Creative agency Thinkerbell has appointed Swedish creative maverick Jerker Fagerström to managing partner Sydney. Jerker has done it all in creative agencies; from building and selling his own agency, to working in group pan-European roles within Publicis. He’s also been managing director, head of strategy and ECD at various times in his career. Jerker has been influential in the VW Cannes Grand Prix winning Fun Theory whilst at DDB.

Durgesh Kaushik named Reddit's VP for APAC and emerging markets
Durgesh Kaushik has joined Reddit's executive team in the new position as vice president of APAC and emerging markets growth.
Kaushik will set the strategy for responsibly growing communities, scaling user adoption and identifying international expansion opportunities in emerging markets throughout the world.

SCA promotes Victoria Young to Melbourne head of sales
Broadcaster SCA has appointed Victoria Young Melbourne head of sales.
Young is now responsible for maximising total audio revenue across SCA’s assets out of the Melbourne market and provide overall strategic direction and leadership to the local and agency radio sales teams.
