Digital marketing and media consultancy Ryvalmedia has added three senior hires to the team following a string of new client wins equating to more than $27 million in new business since July.
Isabella Jackson joins as group media director, Andrea Abbondanza as SEO manager, and Sarinna Harte as media operations and systems manager.
Ryvalmedia became the first business to publicly launch as part of Australian parent RyanCap, which former Dentsu boss Simon Ryan introduced to the market in July.
Ryvalmedia launched with a team of 15 people in its first month, specialising in traditional and digital media, alongside adtech and martech services.
The business now employs over 20 staff led by managing director Joseph Pardillo.
Pardillo departed Carat at the start of the year with his new role at Ryvalmedia, working with his former boss, announced in July.
Pardillo welcomed the new hires to the "fast-growing" Ryvalmedia family, two of whom previously worked at Carat.
"This trio injects a truly diverse range of experience and skill sets to what we are building for our client partners, who combined, galvanise our foundations centered on a client-first obsession with everything we do," says Pardillo.
"We have a best-in-class approach to systems and tools that ultimately fuel our expertise across digital business strategy, holistic media planning, and implementation consultancy under the one roof.
"Continuing to invest in top talent and expanding our diversity of capabilities while the market faces headwinds is critical in positioning ourselves well for the future. We must continue to design an end-to-end infrastructure for the new economy as businesses and brands pivot towards new streams of sustained growth."
Jackson has been in the industry for ten years, including seven years at Carat where she worked with Pardillo.
Most recently, she was media director at Stratosphere Agency.
"The fresh crew at Ryvalmedia are all gurus in their field and passionate to boot," says Jackson.
"It's exciting to be a part of a business heavily investing in growth and utilising its smarts and new world thinking with the client at the centre of it all. Learning and growing with this team is what made my decision to join an easy one."
Harte also previously worked at Carat for the last 13 years, most recently as business manager on Cadbury and Kraft accounts.
"I've spent most of my career helping to implement and operationalise best-practice media buying and productivity, so it's refreshing and extremely motivating for me to have the opportunity to instill what I have learned, in a business that is engineered for the future and geared for the 'new normal'," says Harte.
"Creating optimum efficiencies and processes has never been more paramount for our client partners in today's data-rich world, so it's a great challenge for me to be part of building a new market model with the team."
The appointment of Andrea Abbondanza as SEO manager aims to further bolster Ryvalmedia's "deep" digital expertise.
Abbondanza has worked in a number of SEO roles for companies including Clix4U Digital and Supple Digital.
"Joining a diverse team of thinkers and working with highly skilled technicians, with an unrivaled data-led focus to decision making, is what drew me to Ryvalmedia," says Abbondanza.
"It's exciting to see an unwavering focus from the business to scale and invest in this area for our client partners, especially with the intersection of traditional, digital, and data becoming enmeshed as one ecosystem."
Ryvalmedia's new hires come off the back of a period of growth since the launch of the Melbourne based office, with Stratton Finance, Chromagen, Voost Vitamins, Defeat Diabetes, Modern Movement, and ALTO Health amongst others all engaging with Ryvalmedia in addition to the AKA strategic media partnership pitch win.
