Moove Media, a subsidiary of ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC), has formed a partnership with Indigenous print supplier Printing with Purpose (PWP).
This means Moove Media can now offer 100% Indigenous-sourced prints for all advertising on bus fleets in Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle and Canberra.
The start of the partnership was marked with the installation of a Moove Media advertising campaign to promote the partnership on buses operating from CDC’s Sydney and Melbourne depots.
The campaign features CDC’s Reconciliation Action Plan artwork design, created by Luke Penrith from Tumut, New South Wales.
Kim Robberds, Moove Media GM, said: “As a part of our recently launched Reconciliation Action Plan, Moove Media and our parent company ComfortDelGro Australia have been investigating the ways we can contribute to a fairer and more equitable Australia through our supply chains and community partnerships.
“Our partnership with Printing with Purpose means 100% of the advertising we print and install on buses around Australia is sourced through a First Nations-owned supplier committed to investing in Indigenous communities.
“In turn, we extend a truly unique offering to our advertising clients.”
Sara Stuart, Printing with Purpose CEO, said: “As an Indigenous operated not-for-profit social enterprise, our social purpose is to provide culturally appropriate work experience, employment and training for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the printing, graphic arts, social media and related industries.
“This new partnership will enable PWP to better support the community while encouraging broader conversations in the advertising industry on working more closely with Indigenous suppliers.
“We look forward to working to help not only start these conversations but also walking together with Moove Media to create real employment opportunities for our people."
