My Kitchen Rules has taken out the top spot in all key demographics overnight, drawing in 1.22 million metro viewers, as the show touted another scandal.

Promos for last night's episode had viewers prepared for a cheating scandal that would send “shockwaves” through the MKR kitchen.

The remaining three teams fought it out in 'Kitchen HQ' for the final spot in the MKR semi-finals.

During the three course meal challenge, the 'scandal' came to light, with the Russian team of Olga and Valeria opting to grill their main, violating the rule that it needed to be roasted.

Despite cheating, the team was not booted off the show but instead were defeated by the Perth team of Stella and Jazzey who claimed the remaining semi-final spot.

Nine's The Voice found its way back to the one million viewer mark last night, scraping in by 8,000 viewers.

Last night's episode marked the final set of blind auditions, as judge Boy George handed out the final spot on his team to Victorian singer Maddison McNamara.

Ten was missing from the top programs 10 overnight following the end of The Bachelor in Paradise on Monday.

The channel instead aired Bondi Rescue in the primetime slot, drawing in just over 400,000 viewers, as it awaits the premiere of the latest season of Masterchef, beginning 7 May.

MKR pushes ahead with the semi-finals tonight, as Nine airs its winning Big Bang Theory package, which includes Young Sheldon.
