Independent marketing intelligence company MiQ has appointed Stuart Parker and Rhiannon Brown to two newly created sales roles off the back of continued growth within the ANZ market.
Parker joins the team as sales director for independent and boutique agencies, bringing 14 years of experience in the media industry with him. He has held senior sales and management roles at Newscorp, carsales.com.au and CarAdvice.
"Ad tech has traditionally been a crowded space, but as the market matures MiQ has become a clear market leader. I’m thrilled to be joining such a highly successful ad tech business that still has so much potential to grow at this exciting time," Parker says.
Brown has been appointed as group sales manager, joining MiQ from Fairfax (now Nine) where she was NSW agency director. She has worked in sales and management positions at InLink, Bauer, carsales.com.au and MCN.
The two new hires will report to MiQ ANZ sales director Fi Roberts, joining the business as it looks to relocated to a larger office space in Sydney.
"Since entering the ANZ market just over a year and a half ago, MiQ has experienced incredible growth as we continue to provide strong marketing intelligence-led results for our clients," MiQ ANZ managing director John Danby says.
"To keep up with demand and maintain our high-quality service, the next step naturally was to add these two new specialised roles to our sales team."
The company is currently recruiting for a marketing manager to lead marketing operations and build its brand awareness locally.
Since launching in the local market in 2017, it has provided market intelligence to clients including Dentsu-Aegis, GroupM, American Express, Air New Zealand and Carnival Group.
