Mindshare wins Nova pitch

Mindshare has been appointed Nova Entertainment's media agency partner, following a competitive pitch.

Carat had held the radio network's account since wining the last pitch in 2017

Mindshare, part of WPP's GroupM, will from June work across Nova's portfolio, including Nova Network, Smooth FM, FIVEAA, Star 104.5 and the Nova Podcast Network.

Maria Grivas, CEO of Mindshare ANZ, said the team was thrilled.

"Audio plays a unique role in Australians’ lives and NOVA Entertainment has incredible talent on, and off, the air," she said.

Nova chief growth officer Adam Johnson was impressed with the calibre of the agencies who took part in the pitch.

"It has underlined how Australia’s media industry is alive and well and full of great people and thinking," he said.

"We’re hugely excited to embark on this exciting new chapter with Mindshare, a powerhouse agency with a proven commitment to innovation and delivery for their clients.
