Medium Rare has appointed Lisa Green as editor in chief of Bunnings magazine and Genevra Leek as content director at Qantas & Travel Insider.
Green, who will report to Julie Lee, head of content for Food & Homes, has spent more than two decades at the helm of magazine including The Australian Women’s Weekly and Australian House & Garden. Following her 13-year stint as editor in chief of Australian House & Garden, she moved into the role of editor in chief of Bauer’s Homes magazine division.
Leek, who will report to Kirsten Galliott, head of content for Travel & Luxury, brings more than 20 years of editorial experience, having relaunched ELLE magazine before serving as its editor in chief. She has also served as fashion news editor at both InStyle and Vogue Australia, as well as contributing fashion editor at UK-based Conde Nast title Glamour.
Nick Smith, MD at Medium Rare Content Agency, said: “We are delighted to welcome Lisa and Genevra to the Medium Rare team.
“Both bring a wealth of editorial experience and gravitas to our agency, and will be integral to our growth in 2023 and beyond.”
Green began at the agency on January 9, with Leek to commence on January 23; both join Medium Rare’s growing Sydney office, which now numbers more than 200 staff.
