The Australian Radio Network (ARN) has awarded MediaCom its estimated $4m media planning and buying account.
MediaCom replaces the previous incumbent on the business, Nunn Media, with immediate effect. The business provides MediaCom with a direct replacement for DMG Radio, which parted company with the agency in October.
National Marketing Director for ARN, Jodie Koning, said: "ARN is currently undergoing its greatest overhaul since its inception; with a massive investment in people, technology, programming and marketing. MediaCom's intelligence and scale in this market will provide ARN with the right platform to fast track our success next year"
"I would like to thank Nunn Media for all their hard work on our business over the past few years. The partnership has been a productive one and their diligence and sense of teamwork cannot be faltered."
Chief executive of Mediacom Australia, Toby Jenner, said: "We're delighted to be working with ARN, they have taken the time to understand the breadth and depth of the MediaCom offer and the benefits this will bring to their business. We look forward to working with them in partnership against the competition."
ARN is the largest owner of radio stations in Australasia, with investments in 12 radio stations in Australia and over 111 in New Zealand, including Mix Sydney and Classic Hits Sydney.
The win is the latest in a string of new client wins for MediaCom, joining Blackmores, YUM!, IAG, NRMA, new telco Amaysim and Pacific Brands, all of which have earned the WPP-owned agency new billings comfortably in excess of $100 million.
