Hold onto your hats media industry networkers as Media Thursdays are back. Yes, it's time to abort your dry January and get back on the wagon in time for the first Media Thursday of 2016, which is next week.
After a successful launch in November 2015, having partnered with the Keystone Group, the monthly events will be held at different venues across Sydney and are open to people from all different levels within the buzzing media, advertising and marketing space.
The first networking bash takes place next Thursday (21 January) at the Loft in Darling Harbour, and is organised by Starcom client business manager Samantha Nobes; ZenithOptimedia account executive planner/buyer, Andrew Lowther; News Corp digital account manager, Clem Birdsall and Mindshare media exec Raymond Ly.
“There aren’t many occasions where people from media, publishing, creative and marketing all get the chance to network together, so when Hugo’s closed we saw this as an opportunity to rebirth Media Fridays to Media Thursdays,” Nobes says.
“In an industry that’s all about building and retaining relationships, I see this as the perfect platform to be able to enjoy a few drinks, build your network and even make some friends!"
