MEC Brisbane has nabbed its first new business win since opening up shop in Queensland 150 days ago.
The agency has scooped the Brisbane-based Allianz Global Assistance media account and will be responsible for managing the portfolio that includes Allianz Roadside Assist, Worldcare Travel Insurance and Overseas Visitor Health Insurance.
MEC has handled the media planning and buying for Allianz Australia, in Sydney, for the past three years.
MEC launched its Brisbane office in March, with Jane Sullivan as managing partner, to service the Domino’s Pizza account and to seek new business opportunities in the market.
Sullivan said: “It has been an exciting and fruitful 150 days since we opened our doors. We continue to build a strong partnership with Domino’s and are excited to welcome AGA into the portfolio. We are exploring further opportunities in the market and there will be plenty more good news to come.”
