Brand marketer and ex-advertising agency executive, Aimee Dean, and ex-Commbank sales strategy leadership executive, Rebecca Ransom, have launched a new sales and marketing group, The Generals Daughters.
The new Melbourne-based business is backed by an anonymous investor.
Co-founder and CEO Aimee Dean says The Generals Daughters was formed to enable businesses to optimise their brand, and align actionable outcomes for sales teams.
“There has been a pronounced gap between what a brand stands for and how the power of brand can be translated into a compelling sales strategy," Dean says.
"From past experience, I have found that we often invest large budgets into creating compelling creatively driven marketing campaigns, but for many businesses they rely on technology and forget that they have a team of sales people on the front line.
"People who are talking to customers face to face, who are often left out of the marketing process and simply don’t sell the same story or know how to.
"Whilst, it might not be rocket science, our focus is on working with businesses where these functions either don’t exist or where they need processes put in place for people to work more effectively together."
Together with Ransom, Dean says the duo have created their own trademarked processes to help businesses deliver results.
Ransom says the first results for their client Victorian-based firm, RCI Infrastructure, are "pretty compelling",
Working within the RCI environment The Generals Daughters worked hand-in-hand with their client to develop the brand platform, communications strategy and implemented the sales program.
“Identifying and training the relevant talent was a big part of the process, and its success," Ransom says.
The Generals Daughters bring more than 45 years of experience across a myriad of brand categories and sales channels.
The team work in-house or remotely with clients.
