M&C Saatchi Sydney is continuing to build upon the growth of 2020 announcing multiple promotions across the group, acknowledging the increased scope of work and the changing identity of the M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ.

The three key promotions include Melinda Lofts being elevated to head of CX strategy, Nick Jacobs now joining Rachael Fraser as the head of integrated strategy and Emma Parsons now taking on the role of head of content.

"2021 has already proven to be a brilliant year for the Group and these promotions are testament to the growth and direction of our business," M&C Saatchi Group chief strategy officer Emily Taylor says.

"I feel very lucky to have such talent around me. What we can do together, when we bring this diversity of thought to play on our clients' brands and business challenges is truly exciting."

Lofts has been with the group since 2018, bringing with her over 14 years of experience dedicated to data and CX.

She has a passion for exceeding business objectives by utilising data and analytics to develop deeper insights in order to boost results.

“I am privileged to work with such a talented team on some of Australia's leading brands. Covid has changed the landscape and, with it, magnified the importance of brand and CX alignment," Lofts says.

"There is so much potential and I am really excited about working with our clients to help solve real customer and business challenges.”

Alongside Lofts, Parsons has been building purposeful, iconic brands leveraging social and content for over 13 years.

Her experience in the space has helped steer M&C’s clients through a difficult year, while helping them understand the true value of content in the wider comms mix and the strategic role it has to play in both brand building and delivering to the bottom line.

“I’ve had an incredible year at M&C. The opportunity to work on brands that shape Australian culture, and to do it surrounded by the best in the business, has been humbling and inspiring," Parsons says.

"I’m so excited to step into this role to continue championing social and content, because I truly believe in the power it holds for our clients."

In his new role, Jacobs will be joining Fraser as the head of integrated strategy.

Jacobs brings over 15 years experience to the table having worked at agencies at home and abroad.

After just two years within the company, he has already shown his expertise having worked on flagship campaigns such as ‘Matesong’ for Tourism Australia and winning multiple awards throughout 2020.

“It has been an amazing couple of years at M&C. The planning family is a brilliant group of customer obsessives, who bring to bear an increasing breadth of thinking to our clients' challenges," Jacobs says.

"Working together with Rach and the team in this new role is incredibly exciting and I can't wait to see what the future holds.”
