M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has appointed Vanessa Tucker creative director and promoted Lauren Galloway to GM, in a refresh of the agency’s management team.
As creative lead, Tucker will be charged with spearheading creative solutions to connect brands to passionate communities in sport, gaming, entertainment, food and design.
Tucker joins the agency with more than 18 years of experience in creative as well as having led and mentored strategy, creative and designer teams. She was most recently based in London as creative director at TMS (The Marketing Store).
As part of her previous roles, Tucker has worked with clients such as ABinBev, Adidas, American Express, Mcdonald's and SAP on PR, Partnerships, Content, Experiential, Digital, Social, Advertising and Direct Marketing campaigns.
Galloway’s promotion will see her focus on the quality of work by the agency, client satisfaction, the health, wellbeing and development of the agency’s staff.
Galloway has been with the M&C Saatchi Group for eight years, and has spent the past five years working across the full gamut of creative production for brands including Commonwealth Bank, Lexus, and Woolworths.
Krystyna Frassetto, MD at M&C Saatchi Sport and Entertainment, said Tucker joining us is a real coup.
"She is the unicorn we’ve been looking for - deeply passionate about creating work that makes a positive impact in culture and for our people, and an expert at crafting ideas that come to life in PR, sponsorship, influencer and experiential channels," said Frassetto.
“Combined with Lauren’s promotion to General Manager, and working closely with our Strategy Director Luke Haynes, I’m confident that our new leadership team will expertly steer our clients and team to go from strength-to-strength.”
Tucker said today’s fans expect more from the brands they love, they expect brands to bring true value and meaningful impact to their passions.
“It’s the brands that stand for something real, that truly stand out, and when we get that right, it results in deep respect from fans, and importantly, commercial value," said Tucker.
“That's why I'm thrilled to be joining an agency with Sport & Entertainment's global reputation. With the ability to collaborate with specialised agencies across the M&C Saatchi Group, we can craft truly integrated ideas for our shared clients that leave a lasting impact on their fans.”
