More than 100 people from across 20 companies took part in an industry trivia night to test their general knowledge and to raise funds for children and young people experiencing homelessness.
Lionize narrowly claimed first place with Meta and ARN securing second and third place in the event put on by Bench, UnLtd and Youth Off The Streets.
Ori Gold, CEO of Bench, says it wasn't just trivia — it was proof that a bit of fun and a lot of heart can make a real difference.
"We raised over $20,000 for vulnerable young people, so that’s a roaring success! Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this important night happen!" he says.
Judy Barraclough, CEO of Youth Off The Streets, says the organisation is so grateful to Bench for their ongoing support and to everyone who came to the trivia night to help raise funds for our services for children and young people in need.
"I was encouraged to see so many people from the media industry come together to make a difference and learn more about the challenges faced by thousands of children and young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness," she says.
"The funds raised from the event will help us ensure young people receive the support they need to overcome their circumstances and build a positive future.”
The event was supported by Club York, Luxury Escapes, ARN, MOOD Tea and Officeworks with participating companies including Acast, ARN, FlexiRoam, IAS, Lionize, Meta, NewsCorp and The Trade Desk.
