Ten has revealed its celebrity panel for its upcoming reality singing show, The Masked Singer, with international film and television star Lindsay Lohan set to lead.

Lohan will also be joined by Australian recording artist Dannii Minogue, Kiis breakfast presenter Jackie O and comedian and TV host Dave Hughes.

The show, which was touted by the network as one of its "most exciting" at its Upclose event earlier this year, sees 12 celebrities take to the stage hidden in "bizarre disguises", as the celebrity panel attempt to figure out who the individual is.

The Masked Singer was a massive success in the US this year, with the first season average 11.57 million viewers on the Fox Network.

“The show has already been a huge success and I can only imagine it will get bigger. Each week will be so exciting to watch who performs and try and guess who's behind the masks. I feel honoured to sit on the panel and be a part of such an amazing show," Lohan says.

It was also revealed this month that TV personality and The Bachelor series host Osher Günsberg would be taking the reins as host of The Masked Singer.

Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Australia, the series is set to debut on Ten in Q4 this year.

"It was a massive broadcast hit but also a massive multiplatform hit. So, although it is about singing. It's more than that, it's kind of like a mystery or guessin game," Ten chief content officer Beverly McGarveu previously told AdNews.

"We often get pitched derivative content. This is the first really original thing that we've been pitched in a while, so we're quite excited about the freshness of that."
