Ice-cream chain Ben & Jerry’s and furniture group Koala have come together to celebrate life on the sofa.
They have created the ultimate sofa experience with the Ben & Jerry’s x Koala Sofa Sessions September 2-4 at Sketch Collective in Surry Hills.
At the heart of this activation is the creation of a one-of-a-kind Ben & Jerry’s themed Koala Getaway Sofa with a custom freezer and Getaway’s drawers filled with loads of goodies to enjoy a night on the sofa.
Guests can get maxo-relaxo with their choice of a moo-vie or moo-ditation, whilst they tuck into one of 3,000 delicious Ben & Jerry’s scoops on offer. They’ll also get their own B&J’s branded cozy merch to take home and some Insta-worthy snaps for keeps.
Rucha Sarma, brand manager ANZ, Ben & Jerry’s says “Ben & Jerry’s is the ultimate sofa treat and what better way to showcase that than bringing consumers to indulge in some delicious ice cream whilst sitting on a comfy Koala Getaway sofa. A big thanks to Banter for making this fun and cozy koallab come to life”
Paulie Savant, director, organic marketing, Koala says “ Koala Getaway Sofa is quite possibly our comfiest and most family-proof sofa yet with twin drawers to hide whatever life throws at you! No better sofa than the stain-resistant Getaway to enjoy a pint or five of Ben & Jerry's on and thanks to the whizkids at Banter. We’re excited to bring the delicious koallab to Sydney, IRL.“
Paul Den, co-founder of specialist brand experience agency Banter, says: “How do you show that Ben & Jerry’s is the perfect ice-cream for the sofa? You join forces with the perfect sofa, The Getaway. We’ve had an absolute blast partnering these two powerhouse brands together and can’t wait to see Sofa Sessions live in action”.
