Kyle and Jackie O at KIIS 1065 have dislodged 2GB for the number one spot in Sydney breakfast radio.
In the latest ratings, 2GB's Ben Fordham had a 13.3% share against Kyle and Jackie O at 15.5%.
In a message to fans on Twitter, Kyle and Jackie O write: "Thanks for making us #1 breakfast in Sydney! We’re back live Monday at 6am! Can’t wait to celebrate with you all!"
Ben Fordham tweeted: "Congrats @kyleandjackieo on the win in the radio ratings. You’ve worked hard over decades and deserve the victory. CONGRATULATIONS."
ARN’s chief content officer Duncan Campbell: “Today, Australia’s most successful radio duo, Kyle & Jackie O, make history again as they become the #1 breakfast show in Sydney and for the 20th time secure more listeners than any other breakfast show in the Australia.

Greg Byrnes, Nine Radio’s head of content, sent congratulations to "Kyle and Jackie O on the result they posted in this survey".
But he also said: "Across the Nine Radio’s talk network we have posted strong growth in the 25-39 demographic where we were up 26%, while in the 40-54s we were up 6%.
“2GB and 3AW remain the clear #1 stations in Sydney and Melbourne. Ross and Russ in Breakfast and Neil Mitchell in Mornings have posted another round of extraordinary results in Melbourne.
"In Sydney, Ben Fordham maintained his audience share and Ray Hadley remains well clear of his nearest competitor in Mornings."
