Adelaide-based The KWP Group has welcomed two new appointments to the agency.

Josh Fanning and Hollie Doran are joining as group creative director and client engagement director respectively.

KWP CEO David O’Loughlin says the senior appointments bring a new generation of thinking to the already strong creative culture of the organisation.

“Both Josh and Hollie understand the fundamental benefits that communication and creativity bring to brands and they will add a new dimension to KWP’s creativity, strategy and insight development," O’Loughlin says.

“Recent times have reminded us that ‘connection’ is a fundamental need in people’s lives. Now more than ever, as we all re-evaluate our own connectivity with people, places and partnerships, brands are under increased scrutiny.

“We know that stronger connections will be forged with customers by a brand’s ability to understand deeper, the role it plays in the life of its customers and its community.

“The job of true commercial creativity is to narrate that role and build strong and enduring brand connections. This new generation of leaders will allow us to build that narrative, to understand how to share it with customers in a broad spectrum of media, technology and experiential forms."

Fanning joins KWP from Solstice Media where he was managing publisher and creative director of CityMag – the publication he founded in 2013.

He says he is looking forward to working with KWP’s award-winning creative teams to explore new, exciting and powerful opportunities to unite KWP’s clients with their customers.

Doran returned to South Australia last year after 10 years abroad.

She brings experience working at Giant Spoon and DDB in New York, Euro RSCG in London and DDB in Sydney prior to that.

“After so many years growing my skills and experience overseas, I felt a strong desire to bring that all back to the place where I started," Doran says.

"I am thrilled to join a fabulous agency with an equally fabulous client list and am excited to see what we can achieve together.”
