Cloud data plaform Krux has beefed up its team with data science whiz Yacov Salomon joining its Asia-Pacific outfit, a move Krux is pitching as a re-affirmation of the importance of its Sydney office.

Salomon has previously led data science teams at BigCommerce and Brandscreen, and will take on a global data science role for Krux, leading all its developments in this area.

Krux said in a statement Salomon's appointment was a further commitment to the region, following on from the opening of its first R&D centre in Sydney.

The Krux Australian team is now 10 members strong, with clients including NewsCorp Australia, Network Ten, Carsales, REA Group, and CCI.

Krux delivers cloud-based data management software and secure connectivity for companies to capture, analyse, protect and manage people data accross all screens and sources.
