National creative studio Kojo has appointed Bim Ricketson to the newly created role of group creative director.
Ricketson will oversee the creative output of the Kojo Creative and Kojo Sport businesses.
"With 20 years working on campaign and immersive experiences, opening ceremonies for major sporting events and with a family background in the film and the arts, I’m excited by KOJO’s storytelling-first approach, the breadth of capability and what KOJO offers clients and audiences," Ricketson says.
Ricketson was most recently executive creative director ANZ at event and experience agency, George P Johnson.
Prior to that, he was creative director at Imagination and a senior creative at CI Events.
"Bim is an impressive transformational leader of creative talent and has delivered work across a wide variety of projects," Kojo CEO Stephen Lord says.
"On the back of strong growth across the business, we’re thrilled to welcome him to the team, where he’ll continue to build and evolve our creative offering."
Emma Gill also joins the studio in the role of creative director.
She brings more than twelve years of global brand experience, having worked as creative director at event and experience agencies such as George P Johnson and London-based agency, TRO.
Ricketson and Gill join the Sydney office as the agency continues to expand.
They will work closely with recently promoted head of Kojo Creative, Jess Hill and head of Kojo Sport, Chantella Perera in Melbourne.
