Comedian, writer and actor Kitty Flanagan will deliver the 2025 Women in Media Oration in Sydney, May 28.
Flanagan is perhaps best known as the co-writer, co-director and star of television comedy series Fisk.
“Kitty Flanagan’s Women in Media Oration will be immensely special because the audience will get to see and engage with her in a very different way than we’re used to,” said Kym Middleton, general manager of Women in Media Australia.
“She has an incredible, even enviable, ability to engage and entertain broad audiences. This will be an unmissable evening for anyone in media and entertainment, and anyone who admires great Australian creatives.”
The Women in Media Oration honours the memory of journalist Caroline Jones.
Last year's oration featured Kate McClymont of the Sydney Morning Herald.
