Kia Motors is reviewing its $19 million media planning and buying account, insiders told AdNews.
A source told AdNews that Kia is looking to secure an independent agency for the account.
Independent creative agency Innocean handles marketing for Kia parent company Hyundai Motor Group.
Havas Media is the incumbent which won Kia Australia's above the line media buying and planning in 2017.
Havas Media holds the account globally, as the agency won the bulk of planning and buying for Kia, Hyundai and Genesis in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East in a global pitch this year.
