Justin Drape and Michael Canning’s Exceptional ALIEN has closed its Birchal equity crowdfunding raise with $375,000 from 86 investors.
The cash will help scale the multimedia Travel Playbooks platform and add more people to a roster of 500 creatives/celebrities/sporting stars featured.
"Exceptional Alien's Travel Playbooks are designed like a Spotify for travel," says co-founder and CEO Justin Drape, who previously co-founded creative agency The Monkeys.
"They are a personal play-by-play curation of recommendations from exceptional talents around the globe.
"When travelling, 92% of people ask trusted friends and family to share their experiences and recommendations, so we want Exceptional ALIEN to feel like travelling with thousands of trusted creative friends and culture makers in your pocket."
