The Works, part of Capgemini, has promoted Julie Dormand to the newly created role of managing director.

Dormand, previously managing partner on a contract basis providing maternity cover for Kristie Thistlewaite, will stay on at the agency permanently.

Dormand will oversee the agency’s key business planning initiatives, commercials, people & culture, growth and general management.

She said: “I’m beyond excited to be staying on at The Works! In fact since day one I knew this was a very special and unique place.

“The agency is an entirely people-first organisation and it has been amazing to see first-hand how the impact of the agency’s wellness initiatives for our people actually result in first-class work and results for our clients."

The Works founder / creative partner Damian Pincus said: “Since Jules joined us back in November not only has she significantly deepened and grown relationships with new and current clients.

"She’s managed to do so whilst simultaneously being a mentor and an inspiration to our people helping them fulfill their true potential and career goals.

Dormand will assume the role with immediate effect.
