Social studio Jack Nimble has appointed James McInnes to the newly created role of head of social.
He joins Jack Nimble on his return from Los Angeles, where he was general manager at social agency Benchmob with clients such as AriZona Iced Tea, Diplo, Major Lazer and Flume.
“It’s no secret Jack Nimble is making a huge impact on the industry," says McInnes.
"Their unique blend of social-first creative with full in-house production capabilities makes them unlike any other agency, and an attractive choice for many brands.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join the team, and I can’t wait to keep building on Jack Nimble’s refreshing approach to social across current and future clients.“
McInnes joins during a big year for Jack Nimble, which has seen the agency double in size and win AdNews Small Agency of the Year - Independent (Headcount Under 25).
Jack Nimble cofounder and creative director Adam Wise says McInnes' entrepreneurial spirit, experience in driving culture, and passion for social-first content is exactly what is needed to delivery the very best social content for brands.
"Angus (Jack Nimble cofounder) and I had the pleasure of working alongside James in the past - his understanding of what actually works on social and his compassionate approach to working with others make him the perfect fit for the culture we're building," says Wise.
Founded in 2017 by creative duo, Wise and Mullane, Jack Nimble now has a team of nine social storytellers, specialising in social-first creative, production, and social media management.
The studio’s client portfolio includes: eBay, American Express, Gumtree, Tourism Australia, Afterpay and Business Australia.
