The AdNews Agency of the Year Awards are open for entries. The deadline is later this month so you have until 19 January to get your entries in. The awards not only look at the output and the work from Australian agencies but agencies themselves looking at the combination of an agency's culture, its relationships with clients as well as the financials that underpin it.
This year we added one new category 'Best Use of Mobile' and we updated another, replacing the former Direct Agency of the Year category with the new Customer Experience Agency of the Year award. It's open to any agency that can demonstrate it puts data, technology and creativity at the heart of what it does to develop communications and strategies for clients that revolve around customer experience.
We think the evolution of our categories reflects the changing world of media and advertising, rather than being a money grab to add as many new categories as we can, like other programs.

The AdNews Awards go back almost three decades and have unparalleled heritage in the Australian media and advertising industry.”
Last year, Leo Burnett was crowned Agency of the Year. The year before it was Cummins&Partners (still called CumminsRoss at the time).

The winners will be announced at a black tie awards dinner at The Star, Sydney on Thursday 3 March 2016.
The Awards also contribute to the AdNews Agency rankings with points allocated for winning agencies and campaigns.
