Ipsos iris: News website audience up 4.6% in March 2025

Visitors to news websites rose 4.6% to 21.6 million people in March, according to the latest Ipsos iris data.

Australians spent an average of more than five hours consuming news content online in a big month of news including Tropical Cyclone Alfred and international events.

Global news included the Oval Office confrontation between US president Trump, vice president Vance and Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenzky.
