Newly launched Whybin TBWA shopper marketing agency Integer Australia has appointed TBWA Tequila head of activations Georgia Bruton as general manager, as it announces six foundation clients.
As part of the launch, TBWA Tequila's activations department will no longer exist. In its place a seperate entity, Integer Australia, was today launched at a breakfast in Sydney, as revealed exclusively by AdNews last week.
Six local TBWA Tequila clients, including Insurance Australia Group, Goodman Fielder, GlaxoSmithKline, Mars Petcare, Brown Brothers and Michelin, will act as the agency's foundation clients.
Bruton told AdNews the agency is also in talks with global clients of The Integer Group, but would not comment on which clients.
Integer Australia will initially be comprised on ten staff, including Bruton, as well as creative director Gavin McLeod, whose appointment was announced yesterday. McLeod will also work across other agencies within the Whybin TBWA network.
Bruton said: "As a critical touch-point in the consumer purchase journey, we believe now is the right time to put a real focus on a deeper understanding of the shopper behaviour for our clients. The introduction of the expertise and passion of The Integer Group allows us to take our expertise to a whole new level."
Integer Australia will have branches in both Sydney and Melbourne.
The agency will form part of the global network, The Integer Group, which falls under the Omnicom Media Group and TBWA Worldwide, with head offices in the US. In other markets, the group has worked with clients including 7-Eleven, Electrolux, BlackBerry, Johnson & Johnson, Kellogg, McDonald's, Procter & Gamble, Visa, Microsoft and Michelin.
