Adtech firm Impact has bolstered its APAC team, announcing two senior appointments, with former Sizmek marketing director Ayaan Mohamud joining the business in a similar role.

Mohamud joins Impact as its first APAC marketing director responsible for strategy and execution, including PR, event management, sales enablement and demand generation.

Prior to her years at Sizmek, where she had led marketing in APAC, she also worked in several roles throughout the digital industry across both Australia and the UK.

Steve Arnold has also been appointed as solutions architect to help brands and agencies optimise their partnership programs and maximise marketing ROI across all digital channels.

He is also responsible for market education on fraud prevention techniques and offline/online attribution measurement.

Arnold joins the business from Media Lab, where he was director of technology and data for the dedicated media planning and buying arm of the Westpac Banking Group’s portfolio of brands including Westpac, St George and Bank SA. Prior to this he worked at AppNexus for more than four years.

“We continue to see growth across the region as organisations harness the revenue generation opportunities partnership programs offer," Impact APAC managing director Adam Furness says.

"Key to our continued success is having the best talent in the business and both Ayaan and Steve have significant expertise in their respective fields. I’m delighted to welcome both to the growing Impact APAC team and I look forward to working alongside them as we continue to drive the business forward.”

The appointments come as Impact continues to win business and expand across the region with the opening of offices in Singapore and China.

Earlier this year, Impact raised $US75 million ($A104 million) in a funding round led by Providence Strategic Growth, the growth equity affiliate of Providence Equity Partners.
