HT&E Limited, the owner of radio network ARN, is moving its annual general meeting of shareholders online.

The May 7 meeting will use a virtual platform to allow shareholders to view the AGM, vote on resolutions and ask questions.

"Shareholders they will not be able to physically attend the 2020 Annual General Meeting given restrictions from COVID-19 and to ensure health and safety," the company told the ASX.

WPP AUNZ's annual general meeting of shareholders is also going virtual due to restrictions on public gatherings because of the coronavirus crisis.

The company plans a live webcast and voting by proxy, also on May 7.
