My Kitchen Rules (MKR) once again ruled the roost, and once again it failed to translate into a big audience for How to Get Away With Murder, although the US drama continues to pick up momentum in time-shifted viewing.
Network Seven's reality juggernaut picked up 1.6 million viewers according to the overnight metro figures from OzTAM.
It managed to outpace the next nearest show, Nine's news, by nearly 620,000 viewers.
Up against the MKR train, Nine's reality format The Block posted 726,000 metro viewers, as it continues to struggle against previous versions of the format.
Meanwhile Ten's I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! settled with 668,000 viewers.
Nine won the shootout at from 8.30pm with a new episode of The Big Bang Theory, which started at 8.50pm, taking home 871,000.
Seven's flagship US drama How to Get Away with Murder could only put up 609,000 metro viewers overnight at the 9pm slot, but it continues to pick up viewers on time-shifting.
According to the latest figures, last Tuesday's presentation of the show got another 174,000 people on board, giving the show a 29.7% boost.
However, on the overnight figures Seven got a 31.2% share against Nine's 26.6%.
Meanwhile, Ten picked up a 21.2% share and the ABC got a 15.5% share.
