Havas organic revenue dips

Havas reported a -0.8% drop in organic revenue for the September quarter with the loss of a big client in the US, according to numbers released by the agency's parent company Vivendi.

On a reported basis revenue was up 1.8% to €2.04 billion, “thanks to the dynamic activity of Havas Media” and “strong” organic growth in Europe and Latin America.

The impact of acquisitions on net revenues was +3%, notably including contributions from Uncommon Creative Studio, Eprofessional, Shortcut and Ledger Bennett

The Havas Media division continued to be “dynamic,” while Havas Creative and Havas Health & You posted mixed commercial performances. 

Europe was up +2.8% and Latin America +12.1%. North America fell (-7.5%) and Asia-Pacific and Africa had slightly negative organic growth (-0.6%).

Havas called out its account win at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in North America.

Vivendi also noted Havas' acquisition of independent media agency Hotglue in Australia
