Independent media agency Hatched has made a series of hires across planning, account management and performance after a run of key client wins.
Ashlie McIntosh, appointed to the key role of account director, joins from specialist digital agency Tiger Pistol and after 11 years working on both media and agency sides at Nine and Starcom.
McIntosh says: “I'm very excited to have joined the Hatched family, not only are they leading the charge in terms of being people first but are gaining some serious market momentum with dynamic and innovative strategic solutions for clients that I'm very grateful to get to be a part of.”
Hatched has also formalised a planning and strategy unit. Regan Hancock, formerly digital director at Hatched, has joined the planning unit, headed by Andrew Pascoe, in the role of planning director.
This move has coincided with the Lucy Seward also moving into a planning director role. Lucy, Andrew, Regan and managing partner Stephen Fisher now make up a quartet of a planning function.
Mario Bergmann is another to join the agency, landing at Hatched from M&C Saatchi’s media agency Bohemia, in the role of performance executive.
Jack Byrne, MD of Hatched: "While we, like a many of our clients have seen this year as a huge challenge, we have found that our agility, divergent skillsets and willingness to invest in key talent has ensured great momentum, and huge opportunities coming out of 2020, and we plan on hitting the new year at pace and with a team assembled to deliver best-in-class solutions for our clients now and into the future. Bring on 2021.”
The string of recent hires come off the back of picking up key clients including Mirvac, Kennards, Judo Bank, Vision Super and AIA Australia.
