Hamish Blake and Andy Lee have signed a long-term extension with broadcaster SCA, keeping their Hamish & Andy podcast exclusive to the LiSTNR network.
The agreement, the commercial details of which haven't been released, also covers the Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project.
“We are thrilled to be continuing the podcast with LiSTNR,” the pair said.
“They (SCA) have been an immense support in the past across all of our extremely important endeavours. Glad we’ll be able to have many more years of this service to the people.”
Blake and Lee have a 25-year history with SCA across radio and podcasting. After hosting Australia's highest-rating radio show, they moved to podcasting in 2018, maintaining a strong and growing audience.
The Hamish & Andy podcast has consistently drawn over 800,000 monthly listeners in the past three years and has topped the Australian Podcast Ranker 26 times.
“Hamish and Andy aren’t just one of Australia’s most beloved media duos, they’re consistently one of the most listened-to podcasts in Australia. We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership," John Kelly, CEO of Southern Cross Austereo, said.
"Hamish and Andy continue to play a vital role in LiSTNR’s success, and as the country’s number one podcast network, we’re doubling down on what we do best, delivering premium brand-friendly content to the audiences that matter."
