Independent media agency Half Dome has appointed Simon Gellibrand as head of digital.
He will be responsible for leading the digital product, driving best practice implementation as well as thought leadership and digital marketing maturity for the agency’s client base.
Gellibrand is the former Performics Australia group customer partner and has more than 19 years’ experience working in media agency holding groups and independent agencies.
Will Harms, Half Dome co-founder and head of product, said Gellibrand's experience and skill set will further differentiate the company as a market-leading digital media agency that attracts and retains the best technical talent in the market.
"Simon’s expertise gives us the confidence to double down on one of our five ‘superpowers’ of having the best technical talent, whilst taking our digital maturity road mapping process to new heights and unlocking even more potential for our clients," said Harms.
Gellibrand said he is thrilled to be joining Half Dome and leading the agency's digital product.
"As an agency committed to providing the best technical and performance capabilities while understanding the role performance media plays in the broader media ecosystem, I look forward to working with the team to implement best practices and drive digital marketing performance and ROI for our clients," said Gellibrand.
Gellibrand's appointment follows Half Dome's recent refresh of its brand, strategy, and identity with the launch of 'Whole Potential', as well as the appointment of Gabriel Grossman as head of SEO and the recent client win of Nectr Energy.
