Independent media agency Atomic 212° has been appointed to the Great Wall Motor (GWM) media account, effective December.
This comes after a competitive pitch . The incumbent was Nunn Media.
The global auto brand simultaneously pitched its creative account which also saw incumbent The Hallway lose the account to Thinkerbell.
The brand's digital account also moved to Revium following a pitch.
Atomic 212° will be responsible for GWM Australia’s media planning and buying as well as SEO across Australia and New Zealand.
GWM head of marketing and communications Steve Maciver said welcome Atomic 212° to the team.
"After a sustained period of growth, GWM is ready to take the next step towards becoming one of the region’s leading auto brands and after meeting with Atomic 212°, it became clear that they had the necessary tools, people and experience to help us with this exciting challenge," Maciver said.
Atomic 212° national managing director Rory Heffernan said Steve and GWM team's clarity of vision, approach to collaboration and growth ambitions for the GWM brand in Australia is impressive.
