GrowthOps has acquired digital strategy consultancy PENSO, boosting its digital capability and expanding its reach to new markets in the Middle East.
Commercial details haven't been released.
PENSO, founded in Australia in 2012, is a visionary digital strategy consultancy that transforms clients' businesses, marketing and customer experience for the digital era.
From offices in Australia and the UAE, PENSO works with some of the most ambitious enterprises in the world, including Emirates, dnata, Persol/Programmed, Aveo, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and the Australian and Victorian Governments.
GrowthOps CEO Clint Cooper described the acquisition as an important milestone for the group as it moves to a new stage of growth.
“PENSO brings a first-class client list with some of the world’s most ambitious and wellknown organisations, and a wealth of impressive IP, including methodologies for delivering effective digital marketing, innovation and magical customer experiences,” Cooper said.
“Importantly, as a strategy consultancy, PENSO will expand the potential impact and outcomes we can achieve for clients.
“The group’s turnaround is continuing well. Today’s acquisition is an important milestone for the group, as we look to the future and expand the depth and breadth of our capabilities.”
PENSO was founded by Constantine Frantzeskos in 2012. A digital marketing strategist to the world's biggest companies, governments and startups, Frantzeskos has worked with enterprises for over 20 years to grow customer bases with user-centred digital strategies, innovations and ideas.
Before starting PENSO, Frantzeskos held senior roles across Australia and Asia at Ogilvy, DDB and Edelman, and also had a successful career in the music industry, pioneering multi-channel monetisation and promotion of the world's great music and film with the likes of PolyGram/Universal.
Frantzeskos will join GrowthOps senior leadership team, continuing to lead PENSO while helping to expand the group’s digital offering throughout APAC and beyond.
“There is an urgent and growing need for enterprises to improve their digital marketing, products and services, which is growing the demand for customer-led digital transformation,” Frantzeskos said.
“Technology and design are creating and enabling new products, services and experiences in every industry. If customers are delighted, businesses survive and thrive, even in a pandemic, but alternatives are just a click of a button away.
“PENSO has a vision of the future customer and future business. It gives enterprises a clear vision of how they must innovate to delight their future customers and surpass their competitors.
“We’re delighted to be joining forces with GrowthOps. We see a huge opportunity to scale our impact, capabilities and reach by partnering up with some of the best creatives in the industry such as AJF and behaviour change experts, Khemistry, as well
as complementing the digital capabilities, particularly in implementation, of GoDigital and GrowthOps Asia.
“We’ll now be well-positioned to deliver customer-led digital transformation projects of greater scale and ambition, globally.”
