GroupM’s Greg Graham is taking on a temporary post at the AANA as the organisation continues its search for a new CEO.

Graham is taking on a caretaker position lead the AANA’s events calendar over the coming months, to fill the gap between current CEO Sunita Gloster leaving and her replacement coming on board.

He will be project director working with the AANA team looking after the flagship Reset event in October, and the AANA’s wider events calendar.

For the duration of the sabbatical, Graham, an “ industry veteran”, will step back from his marketing positions at WPP and GroupM.

Gloster, who has been CEO since 2013, revealed she was stepping down last month to take on a role at Channel Ten. Gloster is leaving the AANA in August and will take up her post as chief commercial and strategy officer shortly afterwards.

A memo sent to all AANA members today reads: “As the time is fast approaching for Sunita to leave us, we are delighted to welcome Greg Graham (aka Sparrow) on a special secondment to the AANA team from WPP, commencing Monday 3 July.  Sparrow joins as project director to add resource to the AANA team across key events, particularly  the AANA's flagship event for members and industry, RESET, while the search for a new CEO is underway.”

“Greg who will be known to many of you, is an industry veteran when it comes to events and training. I am delighted he will join the AANA team in the role of Project Director to help us specifically deliver on our event calendar to you from now till the end of the year.

“Greg, will be supported by the fabulous team at AANA and work closely with Lorelle Yee the GM of Marketing.”
